NG BAILEY IS ON TRACK WITH NETWORK RAIL

NG Bailey has completed work on a £2.5m contract with Network Rail to provide specialist mechanical and electrical services to Paddington Station.

The project consisted of a wide range of installation services including lighting, fire alarms, mains distribution and air conditioning.

NG Bailey installed specialist lighting systems to the building, which included high bay and architectural LED lighting. Lighting and mechanical controls were also installed by the company, along with lightning protection.

NG Bailey’s specialist Rail division was involved early in the design phase of the project, offering the client specialist technical input throughout the tender process. This co-ordinated approach meant that NG Bailey had a comprehensive understanding of the project prior to commencing work.

Managing director of the Rail division, Chris Raven, believes that this approach gave NG Bailey a competitive advantage. He said: “By involving ourselves in the project early on, we gained a wider understanding of the building and therefore improved our offering to the client.

“NG Bailey is committed to exceptionally high standards of quality and therefore we aim to constantly improve the service we provide to our clients. Throughout this contract we built up a strong relationship with Network Rail and I look forward to working with them again in the future.”
